IMPORTANT UPDATE | BCIS Board
COVID-19, Coronavirus, has been spreading. With the state mandate to stay home and avoid large gatherings of 10 or more, we have decided to hold off on jamaa (group) prayers at the gazebo of the mobile masjid.
We have weighed the risks and benefits and have decided that all prayers at the mobile masjid or outside at the basketball court/gazebo should be suspended until further notice.
Our community's health and safety are of the utmost importance. Online and Zoom meetings will continue. We encourage you to take part in online activities.
InshaAllah, when this crisis has passed, we will resume all activities and community gatherings.
For now, stay healthy and continue to follow the guidelines from the CDC to prevent infection such as frequent hand washing, avoiding close contact, etc.
Steps to Prevent Illness:
May Allah protect our community and our families. Ameen.
